Church Ministries

Bible Study
On Monday evenings at 5:30 p.m., Pastor Ross holds a Bible study for anyone interested while enjoying dinner or coffee. Locations may change, so let the Pastor know if you are interested in joining the Bible Study group.  Everyone is welcome!

Nursery Class Ministry
We have women and young ladies who are serving the Lord in our nursery ministry.  If you are interested in helping in the nursery, please let one of the nursery workers know.

Christian School
Our church began the ministry of the Emmanuel Baptist Church School in 1996.  E.B.C.S. is a non-tax, non-chartered school, offering grades K-12. If you are interested or would like more information about our school, you can click on the link below to go directly to the website or e-mail us for more details.

Children Ministries

We provide Sunday School classes every Sunday morning at 10:00 am; there's a class for every age!

We also have a Children's Church at 11:00 am filled with excitement and geared directly for their age group with a great biblical message and many opportunities for them to get involved.

During the week we have "Wacky Wednesday's" for boys and girls in grades Pre-K to 6th Grade. It's Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. We do not hold classes on the first Wednesday of the month. We have a Teen Service which is Wacky Wednesday's performance night.

Community Outreach

Nursing Home Ministry
Every Friday at 1:30 p.m. we visit our local nursing home and visit with the residents.  We also hold a church service, with singing, for the residents in their community room.  If you would like to join this ministry, please contact the Preacher; they would love to have you join them!

Soul-winning Ministry
We meet at the church every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. to canvas our area.  We are always looking for those who are willing to go door-to-door soul-winning or passing out tracts.

Shut-In Ministry
There are many in our community who are unable to leave their homes to attend services.  We have had people ask if there was a way they could still feel a part of the service while at home, so we now record our entire church service on DVD and deliver them to their houses for them to watch. If you know of any one who is shut-in and would like to receive these DVD's, please let us know.

Bus Ministry
Every Saturday at noon, we meet at the church to go visit the children, teens and adults that attend our church through our bus ministry.  We also take this time out to let the community know we offer free transportation to church.

Best Year's Club
On the first Saturday of the month at 11:00 a.m., those who are 55 and older join us for a quick message and a light meal for free. Our teens and adults are able to help serve their elders in the community.

Teens

We realize how important the next generation is to the success and strength of our church. We want to do everything we can to make a difference in those who will make a difference in this world.  Many families come to church looking for ways for their teenagers to get involved in the ministry, and we understand the value and importance of making sure we can accommodate this ever-pressing need.
It's our goal to train teenagers to be a positive influence on the ministries of God. Therefore, it is TIME we take a stand and help encourage our teenagers to get involved with the ministries of our church and community.

On Sunday evenings, we are training our teenagers through Biblical principles on how they can get more involved in the ministry by getting more involved in God. We would love to see our class grow every week-- both numerically and spiritually.
